Cineworld is soon to unveil the UK’s first ever 4DX cinema, which will include high-tech motion seats and special effects including water sprays, gusts of air, fog and strobe lighting contained in the auditorium to stimulate what’s on the screen.

The brand new 4D cinema makes use of the newest tech to add some additional pleasure to the latest Hollywood flicks and all of the 140 seats can transfer, blast out water, wind and even create smells to make individuals really feel a part of the on-screen motion.

The 4DX cinema will be launching on 30 January after taking five months to complete, with tickets going on sale from Thursday, 15 January.

The first film to be screened in 4DX will be Kingsman: The Secret Service and thereafter, customers will be able to enjoy upcoming movies, including Hollywood blockbusters and British classics.

Mooky Greidinger, Cineworld Chief Executive Officer says: “We are incredibly excited to be bringing this revolutionary cinematic experience to the UK. Cineworld Milton Keynes will be our first location among many others to come. In 4DX, cinema-goers will become part of the action as sounds, motion, lights and special effects thrill them in their seats.

“At Cineworld, we are committed to differentiating ourselves – ensuring we are at the forefront of innovation and technology, while giving our customers the most enhanced cinematic experience there is. This amazing new venture, in addition to our other offers, such as IMAX, Superscreen, VIP auditoriums, D-Box and now 4DX, allows our customer to choose not only which movie they wish to see, but also how they want to watch it”.

Mark Johnson, General Manager at Cineworld Milton Keynes comments: “We’re delighted to be the first Cineworld cinema to be bringing 4DX to not only the people of Milton Keynes, but also the UK. We can’t wait to see people’s reactions!”

4DX tickets can be booked from 15th January 2015. To book tickets and for further information, visit www.cineworld.com/MiltonKeynes.
