Next Weekend

The biggest new entry this coming weekend is Run All Night. It’s the third collaboration between director, Jaume Collet-Serra and Liam Neeson, with the first two, Unknown (£6.6m), Non-Stop (£9.5m) delivering decent sized hits. Also in cinemas is Suite Francaise, a classy adaptation of Irène Némirovsky’s novel that will attract an arthouse crowd.

The Buzz

The Gunman is in cinemas from 20 March and the first reviews are now in. Variety called it a ‘rote, humourless thriller’, while Screen International was more complimentary, calling its star, Sean Penn, ‘a force of nature indeed, with his glistening, bulging biceps propelling the action at every turn.’
