The annual fundraiser held by the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF) took place in London on Thursday 29 June, as the industry came together to celebrate the work of the charity and pledge support for the cause.

The record-breaking media auction reached a Package total of £698,676 in 2017, and was bought at a record amount of £130,000 by 20th Century Fox. The total amount raised on the night topped £140,000 marking another superb event.

This year’s party, held at the Artillery Garden at HAC in East London, came with fairground rides and plenty of fancy dress fun as professionals from the world of cinema, TV and media went all out to impress in line with the theme, Oh I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside.

Congratulations to Motion Picture Solutions (MPS), who won Best Dressed Table on the night for their colourful Benidorm get-up and inflatable accessories. A team from DCM joined the fun as The Lost Boys, to follow-up their memorable appearance as characters from Little Britain last year. Head of Events and Activations, Anastasia Takis, assisted in organising the event in 2017 and took to the stage to address the room.

Photos from the night can be found here, along with images from the Concorde Press wall and Boomerang action at this link.
