The 2018 D&AD Festival, a three-day event that celebrates the world’s best design and advertising, is taking place this week at London's Old Truman Brewery.

This year’s event celebrates the unique relationship between creativity and culture and will uncover how they shape, impact and inform each other through a variety of talks, Q&As, workshops and events.

Tying into this year’s Human Voices theme, day 1 saw Platform 13’s Leila Fataar discuss how brands can remain culturally relevant, Wieden+Kennedy explore how creativity can galvanise communities, Patrick Collister uncover how you handle leadership, and Kit Altin reveal her secret source code of persuasion.
