DCM welcomes the IMC Enniskillen & Q&A with Manager, Michael Collins

The IMC cinema in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland is the latest independent cinema to join the DCM portfolio. It makes a great addition to DCM and helps us grow our 80% market share. We spoke to the manager, Michael Collins to get a bit of background on his time in the industry.

How did you end up working in cinema and what do you love about it?

I used to work in retail management and got the opportunity to move into cinema management. In terms of what I love about it, it's the people.

What's unique about IMC Enniskillen?

We offer a good customer experience and as a result we have great customer retention. They return to us again and again!

Do you have any special events or screenings at IMC Enniskillen?

We offer subtitled screenings and special autism screenings.

What excites you about the future of the cinema industry?

The push to provide a first class service in all ways.

What is your favourite movie and why?

Luc Besson's Leon. It's one of those films that grips you from the start.

What film role would you like to play?

Jean Reno as Leon in Leon. He gets the job done with minimum fuss!

What do you think are the most iconic cinema ads?

The Guinness ads. The movement of art to make an ad.
