Campaign held its inaugural Creative Tech Awards at the Tower of London on Monday night, as the media and advertising industry gathered to hear the stories behind some of the most innovative campaigns launched in the last year.

Digital Cinema Media picked up Silver and Bronze prizes, for Xbox Forza Horizon 3 in the Best Use of Experiential Technology (Disruptors) category, and its Airbnb Live There 37 Degrees campaign in the Breakthrough Technology Award (Pioneers) section, respectively.

The competition sets out to honour the industry's most creative and effective campaigns harnessing technology and is a new awards programme for 2017, led by Google's top UK marketer.

Graham Bednash, Google’s UK Marketing Director, chaired an expert panel of judges for the inaugural Creative Technology Awards and said of the competition:

"Anyone who loves ideas and creativity has never had so many opportunities to break new ground. I’m excited to celebrate the very best ideas where technology and creativity meet."

The awards comprise 15 categories and are open to brands, agencies and technology companies that can demonstrate successful innovation in advertising, especially where campaigns have triumphed through effective collaboration.

DCM celebrated the success at the gala dinner alongside partners from McCann London (below), the agency partner on the Xbox Forza Horizon 3 4DX work.
