Advertising Week Europe comes to London for the fifth consecutive year this March and, as a founding partner of the festival, DCM will take part once again with a series of events throughout the week at one of our flagship cinemas, Picturehouse Central.

There'll be a chance to hear from our CEO, Karen Stacey on the opening day, a special DCM Film Club edition and a Q&A session with film director and screenwriter Gurinder Chadha OBE.

 

The Power of Cinematic Storytelling: DCM in conversation with Gurinder Chadha

Gurinder Chada OBE is one of the UK’s most respected filmmakers, is known for writing and directing box office hits such as Bend it Like Beckham and Bride and Prejudice. This March, her new film, Viceroy’s House, was recently released and DCM’s Head of Film, Tom Linay, will discuss the director’s passion for cinematic storytelling and her diverse career.

DCM Film Club Presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

DCM is all set to host the official movie night at Advertising Week Europe again this year, after a successful screening of Cinderella in 2016. The family-friendly screening of the studio’s new live-action release takes place from 6.30pm at the Fast Company Stage. The film refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience and the fantastic cast includes Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast and Luke Evans as Gaston.
