2017 is drawing to a close so it's time to announce which of the year's very best films came out on top in the DCM Film of the Year poll.
We asked each member of staff to rank their top three films of the year, with the top film getting three points, the second two points and the third one point. The film with the most points came out on top.
A total of 28 different films were selected, ranging from the biggest films of the year (Dunkirk, Beauty and the Beast), to some of the smaller titles (20th Century Women, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women) but I think we can all agree that there's a pretty terrific selection of films in the final top ten.
Below is the final top 11 (due to tie-scores!) compiled from our internal poll this month:
