As you may have seen a couple of weeks ago in Close Up, the UKCA Midland and Northern Branch event will take place at the Uttoxeter Race Day on Wednesday 9th of September. This event has been organised by the Midland and Northern Branches for many years now and DCM would like to invite our Exhibitors to join us for a thrilling day at the races.
The UKCA have once again obtained a private box in the main stand as a result from the sponsorship from DCM, Omnex and others. For those that haven’t been before, the Uttoxeter Racecourse offers one of the best duel tracks in the country and is located on the Staffordshire/ Derbyshire border set in spectacular rural surroundings.
Huge thanks to Robert Johnson for organising the plans for the day and for Bethan Rogers at the Cinebowl Cinema for kindly hosting.
The agenda for the day is set to be the following:
Morning Coffee: Morning coffee will be available from 10.30am – 12 noon at the Cinebowl Cinema, (address:Town Meadows Way, Dovefield Park, Uttoxeter, ST14 8AZ).
Lunch: Please meet at the Dapple Grey Pub (across the road from Cinebowl Cinema,) at 12 noon for 12.30pm before making our way over to the racecourse.
The course itself opens at 12.00pm with the First Race starting at 14:10pm and the last one at 17:25pm. There will be a totally of six races throughout the day.
