2015 Oscars nominations announced – who’s up for an award?

Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams, Gravity director Alfonso Cuarón and Into the Woods actor Chris Pine announced the nominees for the 87th Annual Academy Awards earlier today.  

Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel lead the race for this year's Oscars with nine nominations each, followed closely by The Imitation Game with eight nominations and Boyhood and American Sniper who picked up six.

The Oscars will be broadcast live from Hollywood's Dolby Theatre on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. ET.
