The 58th BFI London Film Festival, in partnership with American Express®, kicks off today (Wednesday) with the European premiere of WWII drama, The Imitation Game, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley.

Taking place over 12 days, the 2014 BFI London Film Festival includes a huge 248 feature films and 148 shorts across 17 venues, finishing on 19 October with David Ayers’ tank drama Fury.

A stellar line-up of directors, cast and crew are also taking part in career retrospectives, masterclasses, Q&As and other special events.

Participating cinemas include BFI Southbank, Odeon Leicester Square, Odeon West End, Vue West End, Odeon Covent Garden, the ICA, Hackney Picturehouse and Vue Islington.

This is the 10th year DCM has partnered with Britain’s leading film event and one of the world’s oldest film festivals. Check back tomorrow on our blog, Twitter and Facebook pages for the first video of our very own Tom Linay on the Red Carpet discussing the Opening Night gala and the films he’s most looking forward to seeing.
