April sees the return of the most iconic film series in the whole of British cinema and it represents the biggest AV opportunity of 2020, delivering 25+ TVRs for ABC1 adults, ABC1 men and 16-34 adults. The rest of the month has a variety of pleasures – the latest film in the X-men series, a beloved British book given a lavish new adaptation, and a new comedy from some of the hottest comedy talents in the US.
No Time To Die
No film grabs the UK public’s imagination like a Bond film. Each film is a genuine cultural event that gets the whole country talking and No Time To Die is set to be the most eagerly anticipated in years. It’s also (probably) Daniel Craig’s last outing as the world’s most famous secret agent and at the start of this new story, Bond has left active service. His peace is short-lived however…

The New Mutants

The Secret Garden

A much loved British story gets the prestige British big screen treatment from David Heyman, the producer behind Paddington, Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and Gravity. A classy British cast has been assembled for this tale of a girl who discovers a magical garden hidden at her uncle’s house.

The Lovebirds
Target audience: 16-34 Women
Some of the funniest people in US comedy team up for this tale of a couple, on the brink of breaking up, who unintentionally embroiled in a bizarre (and hilarious) murder mystery. The last time Michael Showalter and Kumail Nanjiani worked together we got the excellent The Big Sick. Expect similar levels of quality.
