CAT Footwear, the shoe retailer is to launch a high profile cinema campaign through Digital Cinema Media (DCM).
Launching on 2nd October the ‘Earthmovers’ campaign will run in cinemas nationally through to the 19th November.
The 30-second execution features two people wearing CAT footwear moving with great athleticism and ease through the air, their contorted bodies representing this season’s cutting edge Autumn/Winter 09 designs.
Using a combination of Time Slice photography and high-speed slow motion film, the commercial’s use of static imagery captures the CAT model’s dramatic forms with high impact.
Fleur Castell, head of marketing at DCM said: “This is another example of a retailer turning to the power of cinema to market itself to a captive and engaged audience”.
The cinema campaign will run for two weeks across DCM screens nationwide before the following feature films: The Invention of Lying, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, Men Who Stare at Goats and Harry Brown
