The ‘First Ever Global Cinema Ad’ utilising the power of Cinema to engage the global Cinema audience is set to launch on 25 September. The 60 second Global Cinema Ad titled, #WEHAVEAPLAN, is animated by four times Oscar-winning Aardman Animations, directed by Sir John Hegarty and narrated by film stars Liam Neeson and Michelle Rodriguez.

The #WEHAVEAPLAN global cinema campaign forms part of the biggest ever collaboration of campaigners, artists, sports stars, performers and companies, joining together to tell unite to tell seven billion people in seven days “It’s Time To Change The World”. The unprecedented effort of Global Goals will culminate on 25 September at the UN when 193 world leaders adopt the Global Goals, a series of 17 ambitious targets to end poverty, fight inequality & injustice and tackle climate change for everyone by 2030. If the goals are famous - if people care about what has been promised by the politicians, it greatly increases their chance of being implemented. So today the campaign is calling on everyone to help make the goals famous.

Speaking about the ground-breaking collaboration Richard Curtis, founder of Project Everyone, which has led the Global Goals initiative, said: “The Millennium Development Goals halved extreme poverty across the world. The new Global Goals for Sustainable Development give us the opportunity to end it for good. There’s no point in going half way. By making the Global Goals famous we can give them their best chance of working around the world - and help make us the first generation to end extreme poverty, the most determined generation in history to end injustice and inequality, and the last generation to be threatened by climate change.”

The #WEHAVEAPLAN cinema ad will appear in thousands of Cinemas worldwide from 25 September. Audiences will be able to Interact with the Cinema ad and share the Goals using the Global Goals Interactive App which has been developed by CINIME International. The Global Cinema ad will premiere on the eve of the Global Goals launch, on 24 September in New York City at the AMC Empire 25.
