It has been another fantastic 12 months for cinema and advertising on the big screen, continuing to build on the successes of the last few years which have resulted in record-breaking revenue performance. Cinemagoing also remains as popular as ever with the UK public, with 2018 set to be the biggest year for cinema admissions for over 40 years.
To add to this, Campaign Magazine has also named DCM’s Sales Director, Davina Barker, in its top 10 commercial chiefs of the year for the second year running.
Davina ranks at number eight, joining other leading figures from companies including Facebook, Twitter, Primesight, ITV and Global, particularly standing out as the only woman to be featured.
This list reveals the best-performing people and companies of the year and is published in the magazine’s Annual edition.
Of Davina, Campaign stated: “Harry Potter fan Barker has continued to weave her magic at DCM, which has kept revenues growing, opened an office in Manchester and developed deeper brand partnerships, such as its work with Max Factor in cinema foyers. She and her chief executive, Karen Stacey, champion the medium via the annual DCM Awards.”
