DCM links up with BAFTA to promote 2015 EE British Academy Film Awards via the cinime app

Digital Cinema Media (DCM) has teamed up with BAFTA to promote the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2015 through its cinime app, building extra awareness by making exciting awards content easily available in the lead up to this weekend’s ceremony.

Users of cinime will be able to click the app’s carousel homepage to unlock special BAFTA content, including a competition to win a BAFTA Nominee Gift Bag, the official Awards trailer, and the vote for the EE Rising Star Award. All goodies will be sharable on social media.

Developed by the cinema industry for the cinema industry, the cinime app, created by DCM and Yummi, aims to entertain and engage people before and after the movies. The app harnesses cutting-edge image-recognition and bespoke audio watermarking technologies to deliver rewards and unlock bonus brand and film content. Cinime has on average 100,000 active users per month, having registered nearly 700,000 downloads in the UK to date.
