Digital Cinema Media (DCM), the market leader in UK cinema advertising, and creative workflow and automation specialists, Peach have today launched new updates to Caria (a Peach product) to further improve the process for cinema bookings.

DCM is constantly exploring new ways to use technology to drive efficiencies and deliver the best service to customers. In the last 12 months, it has greatly improved its own production delivery platforms, workflows and systems and reduced production lead times by 24 hours.

Caria, Peach’s industry-leading campaign management booking platform, is used extensively by media agencies and creative sources. Since 2016, DCM has worked with Caria to provide dynamic buying, scheduling and reporting offerings to its agencies. For the next step in DCM’s journey, we wanted to better align cinema’s copy chasing system with this gold standard service, offering further integration to allow brands and agencies to maximise the use of their AV mix, and the role cinema can play within that.

Working closely with DCM, Peach has made significant updates to Caria to streamline the entire process of scheduling campaigns for cinema. The new changes to Caria align DCM and the UK cinema market with the wider AV booking ecosystem, and leverage pre-existing agency workflows.

Improvements include:

  • Media and creative agencies can now track all areas of the booking process in one integrated system, simplifying media buying, avoiding potential errors and maximising efficiency.
  • Media agencies can connect their bookings to the creative workflow, greatly reducing admin and streamlining the entire process in one platform.
  • Creative agencies now have 30 days advance visibility of bookings, in line with TV and BVOD.
  • New cinema-specific metadata fields have been introduced, such as CAA Approval number, CAA rating, BBFC rating, and Producer contact details, to standardise and align cinema instructions throughout the booking process.
  • A full archive of all copy metadata and instruction information is stored and accessible for the agencies involved, whilst introducing ‘audit’ and ‘versioning’ to all instructions grants further improvement to process and data management.

These developments maximise the ease and efficiency of planning and scheduling cinema campaigns for all involved. For any assistance, please check Peach’s Help Centre. Information pages have been setup for Media Agencies and Creative Agencies.
