Digital Cinema Media has been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s Media For All (MEFA) Diversity & Inclusion Awards. These awards, run in partnership with Campaign, recognise advertisers, media owners and individuals who champion diversity, equity and inclusion in their work.
DCM’s work with BAFTA has been shortlisted in the ‘Creative Excellence’ category, which celebrates outstanding creative work that champions diversity and communicates powerful messages of inclusion and authenticity. The national cinema advertising campaign highlighted BAFTA's position as an arts charity, and showcased real life stories to inspire the creative talent of tomorrow to pursue a career in the screen industries.
DCM as a company has also been shortlisted in the ‘All in Champion’ category. In partnership with the Advertising Association, this award category is specifically for companies who have made substantial progress in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and have embedded it in their ethos and company culture.
Last year, DCM’s Sales Director Davina Barker was awarded the Hammer Award at the inaugural MEFA Diversity & Inclusion Awards. This year, she and DCM's CEO Karen Stacey sit on the judging panel, amongst a range of leaders from across the media and advertising industry.
We are very proud to have received shortlists for two awards this year, and to be a sponsor of MEFA as an organisation.
The winners of this year's awards will be announced at a ceremony at Picturehouse Central in London on 19 November.
