DCM Studios has partnered with the BBFC to launch a Black Card Competition for the animated film Puss In Boots: The Last Wish. This is a unique opportunity for a brand looking to engage a family audience.
For the release of the latest film in the Shrek franchise, Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, the BBFC and Universal are stepping away from the traditional Black Card, for an exciting, one of a kind design. The design used will be decided through a competition, targeted at school age children, and will be shown on the big screen before the film.
DCM Studios, in partnership with the BBFC and Universal, are looking for a brand to join them in presenting the competition and take advantage of the large family audience reach that Puss In Boots: The Last Wish is set to achieve. The film’s UK release date is 3 February 2023, and is expected to bring in 1.2m DCM admissions.
The competition to re-design the iconic Black Card will be promoted in relevant family films across Q4 2022 in the run up to Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, as well as through BBFC’s School Outreach Programme to boost engagement with school age children and encourage entries.
This is an opportunity to create an association with family film in partnership with BBFC, Universal and Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, whilst simultaneously creating opportunity, and inspiring thousands of young children (and their parents).
