Digital Cinema Media's (DCM) CEO, Karen Stacey, was honoured at a special dinner event this week to recognise her status as one of Ade Age's Women to Watch in association with Women in Advertising and Communications (WACL).

The event, held at London's Savoy Hotel on Monday night (6 June), took place to celebrate the 20 influential figures selected for their contributions to the industry and how they continue to make waves in advertising. Stacey was specifically selected for bringing greater awareness and bigger budgets to cinema since joining DCM.

Each year, Advertising Age honours outstanding women in advertising, marketing and media in the US and the inaugural European list was assembled to mark the programme's 20th year. Other names to receive an award on the night included Karen Blackett, Chairwoman, Mediacom UK; Tracy De Groose, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Group; and Tammy Einav, MD, Adam&EveDDB.
