Deadpool returns to UK cinemas on 15 May in Deadpool 2! Having overcome his demons and been reunited with the love of his life in Deadpool, Marvel's biggest loudmouth is set to go toe-to-toe with Cable, a metal-armed solider from the future on the hunt for a young mutant played by Hunt for the Wilderpeople's Julian Dennison.
The first Deadpool movie was the surprise hit of 2016, becoming the biggest superhero film of a year featuring both Captain America: Civil War and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Grossing £39m in the UK, Ryan Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth dove right into the hearts of movie fans, becoming one of the most loved superheroes of the past years.
With this new momentum, Deadpool 2 hopes to kick things up a notch, with Deadpool forming the iconic comic-book squad the X-Force. Deadpool 2 has gained David Leitch as director, who is best known for being the stunt co-ordinator on John Wick and the director of Atomic Blonde, so expect cutting-edge action scenes being teamed up with Wade Wilson's razor-sharp wit.

DCM Film Club is excited to be hosting three exclusive screenings of Deadpool 2 next week. As well as our ever-popular London date on 15 May, DCM will be taking Film Club on the road for the very first time, with screenings in Leeds and Manchester of 16 and 17 May respectively.
