This week, the DCM sales team has been out in force across media land, educating the media community on the benefits of cinema.
Team members have been visiting staff at Arena Media, Total Media, OMD and Mediacom, setting up bite-sized sessions, known as #DCMcinesessions, to cover off topics such as the attractions of cinema, innovations and partnerships plus live brief sessions, where DCM will respond to a brief with a multiplatform cinema campaign pitch.
The week began with breakfast and a session titled “How advertisers can harness the power of the big screen” at Arena Media, headed up by DCM Agency Lead, Gerry Anyanwu.
Over at Total Media, a session on cinema and live entertainment kicked off, highlighting the advantage of live attractions advertising in cinema and the opportunity for brands to take over cinema foyers.
Later in the afternoon, some of the DCM team were present for a session at OMD on innovation and sponsorship. The session included a live demo of DCM’s new cinema companion app, cinime.
Thursday will see these activities continuing, with lite-bite sessions at OMD on specific categories, such as Food and Drink, Motors and Travel and Entertainment. This will be followed by a live brief session.
