Digital Cinema Media (DCM) has bolstered its growing client team with the appointment of Neil Pummell, who becomes the company’s first-ever Head of Client.

Pummell has spent his entire career in the media industry including roles at ITV, MediaCom and most recently, Exterion Media, where he spent 12 years.

In his previous role, as Head of Partnerships, he worked closely with clients and acted as a link between the sales, marketing and insight teams to drive innovation in out-of-home.

At DCM, Pummell’s remit will be to drive and lead the client team, building relationships both internally and throughout the wider industry to raise the profile of cinema and its role within AV campaigns.

Davina Barker, Sales Director, Digital Cinema Media said: “I’m very pleased to welcome Neil as our new Head of Client. Building strong client relationships is a pivotal part of the DCM business plan and Neil’s all-encompassing experience of the media market from working in TV, radio and outdoor will allow us to develop the best solutions for our customers.”

Neil Pummell, Head of Client at Digital Cinema Media, said: "I'm extremely excited to be joining a company with such a fantastic market reputation as DCM. Cinema advertising is becoming even more important and relevant for advertisers seeking to tell their brand stories. I look forward to working closely with clients to showcase entertaining and engaging content to our audiences."

Neil joins DCM at an exciting time for cinema, with admissions up 11.4 per cent in Q1 and brands continuing to invest in the medium, with adspend increasing by 8% in 2016 after a record-breaking 2015.
