Digital Cinema Media (DCM) the cinema advertiser has won the contract to manage the Bradford National Media Museum, taking over the running of the site from rivals Pearl & Dean.

The site which has an IMAX screen showing the latest 3D films is part of the NMSI Museums Group which also includes the Science Museum in London.

Two other auditoria, Pictureville and Cubby Broccoli show films cinemagoers wouldn’t normally see in their local multiplex. This will prove a valuable addition to the Arthouse cinema screens that DCM currently has to offer advertisers.

The high profile site had previously been with Pearl & Dean for four years since April 2005.

The IMAX cinema opened in 1983 and was the first ever IMAX cinema in Europe. It now shows the very latest movies including the new Star Trek film.

The Pictureville and Cubby Broccoli cinemas regularly screen the best contemporary and classic films, and frequently welcome guests from the cinema industry to talk about their work. They pride themselves on projecting films as they are meant to be seen, in a range of historical and modern formats from Cinerama three-strip to digital.
