A year ago, Advertising Week Europe launched a mind-bogglingly brilliant experiment to extend the success of Advertising Week in New York City, to the streets of London.
It was a bold and brave move that proved to be a huge success as we are now one year on, celebrating the second edition of Advertising Week Europe, set to take place between 31 March – 3 April 2014.
Digital Cinema Media (DCM) is proud to be an official partner for the second year, to celebrate and showcase the power of cinema advertising and the influence and inspiration film brings to the creative industries.
In Matt Scheckner’s (Executive Director of Advertising Week) own words: "London, the long-term home of Advertising Week Europe, is a fantastic canvas to paint on and the 2014 roster is truly awe-inspiring."
Once again taking place at BAFTA, Advertising Week Europe will bring together representatives from advertising and beyond with inspiring speaker sessions recently announced to include: Sir Trevor McDonald, Idris Elba, Sir Martin Sorrell, Olympian Victoria Pendleton and DCM’s very own CEO, Simon Rees.
DCM is teaming up with D&AD, the charity which exists to inform, educate and inspire those who work in and around the creative industries., to host a workshop centred on how advertising is Inspired by Film.
DCM is also very excited to announce that for 2014 media land's best loved film club, DCM Tuesdays, has been confirmed as an official part of the Advertising Week Europe schedule and will be brought to you on Tuesday 1 April in conjunction with Empire.
Finally, Simon Rees will be participating in the WIRED panel debate, discussing Evolution or Revolution in media alongside other industry leaders.
