DISTRIBUTOR SLATE DAYS RETURNS FOR FOURTH YEAR

The UK's top networking event for film distributors and exhibitors, Distributor Slate Days, is set to return for the fourth year running.

The sessions will take place at Picturehouse Central on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 September. These events welcome exhibitors and distributors from across the UK, creating opportunities for the two industries discuss new collaborative opportunities and build stronger bonds.

Day one will feature an exciting programme of distributors presenting their marketing and audience development plans for new titles, whereas day two will be comprised of 'speed dating' sessions, allowing attendees to meet with specialists to discuss new opportunities, as well as key topics such as diversity, inclusion and access in the industry.

Distributors will be able to present to over 300 exhibitors, who range from multiplexes to independent cinemas and film clubs. This will be the first year that Paramount Pictures, Sky Cinema, Day for Night and Bulldog Film Distribution will present, as well as new British distributors Modern Films and 606 Distribution.

Adrian Wootton OBE, Chief Executive of Film London and the British Film Commission, said: “Distributor Slate Days has become firmly established in the industry calendar as the UK’s annual event dedicated to networking and collaboration between distributors and exhibitors, and it’s fantastic to see the event return for a fourth year.
