Due Date, starring Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis topped the Box Office last weekend, grossing £2.3m. The comedy, directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover), follows the comic attempts made by Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr) to travel to LA to see the birth of his firstborn. Hangover star Zach Galifianakis plays the stranger who offers him a lift cross-country, which turns into the most terrifying drive of Highman's life.
Last weekend saw Box Office gross increase in the US by an impressive 30% compared to the same weekend last year with the release of Megamind, Due Date and For Colored Girls. Dreamworks animation Megamind, voiced by Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt, took the top spot grossing $46m.
