The Event Cinema Association (ECA) has announced its plans for CineEurope 2019.
The ECA will host the first ever slate presentation for Event Cinema in the main auditorium which will take place on Wednesday morning at 10:00, accompanied by a breakfast reception.
Speaking of the new edition to the programme, Andrew Sunshine, President of the Film Expo Group, said: “CineEurope is excited to welcome the ECA back to the convention to showcase and highlight what their members have to offer cinema owners in the upcoming months. Alternative Content continues to be an important area of focus to bring the moviegoer product that is outside the major studio platform. The ECA and its members, continue to do just that.”
Laura Houlgatte, Chief Executive of UNIC, echoed further support of the Association’s involvement: "We are delighted that the ECA will be joining us as part of the programme at CineEurope. Event Cinema continues to go from strength to strength and we very much look forward to discovering what the sector has in store for European audiences over the coming months."
CineEurope takes places from 17-20 June in Barcelona, featuring over 3,000 exhibitors, content and service providers from across Europe.
