Cinema is bucking the economic gloom in 2009 and with 2010 looking to continue in this trend, Digital Cinema Media (DCM) the market leader in UK cinema advertising is showcasing what's in store and what innovations cinemagoers can look forward to over the next year.

Taking place on the morning of Tuesday 15th September, the event chaired by Unilever’s UK & Ireland’s communications and buying manager Richard Brook, will reveal the bigger picture of cinema in the film and media industry.

Event highlights include Chris Green, marketing controller at Fox Films presenting exclusive footage of James Cameron’s long-awaited ‘Avatar’ film, and Andy Crysell, founder of Crowd DNA, revealing extensive new research and insights into the UK’s 15-24 year olds looking at how media fits into their lives and how their use of social media is changing cinema-going.

Martin Bowley, managing director of DCM, said: “This two hour event will tell you everything you need to know about cinema and film in 2010, why we’re the only medium who can really deliver youth audiences along with some exclusive 3D footage.  I won’t waste your time!”

The Bigger Picture is set to become the must attend media event of the year.  To apply for a place, free for national advertisers and their agencies, apply at www.dcm.co.uk/biggerpicture.

The Bigger Picture takes place at the Cineworld on Haymarket, London on 15 September 2009 from 9:15am – 11:30am.
