The Film Content Protection Agency (FCPA) is continuing to support cinema staff across the UK and Ireland in their anti-piracy awareness and knowledge with an online quiz and quarterly prizes.
The aim of the FCPA, as part of the Film Distributors’ Association (FDA), is to make cinema releases as secure as possible by protecting the content on screen – and thereby safeguarding the intellectual property rights of film distributors and the creators whom they represent.
Each quarter, a winner is selected from cinema staff who have completed the online quiz to win a £1,000 prize. The latest winner of the competition was Rachel Arkley, Cinema Manager of the Jam Jar Cinema in Whitley Bay, Tyne & Wear.
“A huge thank you to the FCPA, it’s fantastic to win the quarterly prize draw,” said Rachel. “Myself and all of the team do the online film piracy quiz and I would encourage other venues to do the same. I now get to go out and treat myself!”
