The FCPA has launched an online quiz to encourage cinema-staff to test their knowledge on anti-piracy.

The Film Content Protection Agency (FCPA) are part of the Film Distributors’ Association (FDA), which represents the interests of film distributors in the UK and Ireland. Its aim is to make cinema releases as secure as possible by protecting the content – and thereby safeguarding the intellectual property rights of film distributors and the creators whom they represent.

One of FCPA’s core objectives focusses on the development of anti-piracy awareness and vigilance amongst those who work in cinemas across the UK and Ireland. Alongside the many resources on their website, the organisation has launched a multiple-choice quiz for cinema staff to test and improve their knowledge. Each person who completes the quiz is entered into a draw to win £1,000, with a winner randomly being selected every quarter.

The quiz has seen great success so far, with almost 5,000 entries in Q4 of 2022. The next prize draw will take place at the end of March 2023.
