FCPA’s New Autumn Campaign Further Supports Anti-Piracy Awareness

Launched almost two years ago, the FCPA’s online quiz for cinema staff helps to test and develop their anti-piracy knowledge and awareness. Each person who completes the quiz is entered into a prize draw, with a winner randomly being selected every quarter.

As part of their ongoing efforts to support and develop cinema staff’s anti-piracy awareness, the Film Content Protection Agency (FCPA), with support of cinema technology company Omnex, have doubled their quarterly quiz prize draw to £2,000.

This new update to the ongoing initiative aims to further encourage the development and delivery of anti-piracy awareness and vigilance amongst those who work in cinemas.

Increased staff awareness continues to make cinema releases as secure as possible by protecting the content – and thereby safeguarding the intellectual property rights of film distributors and the creators whom they represent.

The next prize draw will take place at the UKCA’s Christmas Party in London on Thursday 5 December.
