Campaign has published its annual A List, highlighting the cream of the crop of the advertising industry, with DCM's CEO Karen Stacey once again included on the list.
This year, Campaign challenged all members to answer a series of questions on the previous decade and their hopes for the decade ahead:
“Brexit, Trump, climate change, electric scooters, jeggings, selfie sticks... it's been a tough decade. But adland's finest are putting the worst of it behind them, getting match fit for the darts by whatever means possible and swaggering into the Roaring Twenties to a soundtrack of feel-good bangers.”
On the close of the last decade, Karen commented: "The decade of no name, no decisions, political inertia, indecisiveness and fake news. I’m quite relieved to draw a line under all of them". Looking to the decade ahead, Karen said: “Our industry creates real change in society. Marketing for good is just good marketing – I sometimes think we forget what a difference we can make. I hope we get our collective mojo back.”
