Karen Stacey speaks at The BCMA at BVE 2017

DCM’s CEO, Karen Stacey, appeared on a panel alongside other leaders from the branded content business last Thursday afternoon at The BCMA's inaugural event at BVE, held at London's ExCeL.

The panel discussed the topic of distribution regarding branded content and Karen spoke on cinema's behalf, outlining the benefits of the big screen for brands looking to cut through with great content in a world of clutter.

Other speakers to feature in the session included Tim Bleakley, CEO, Ocean Outdoor; Abby Carvosso, Group MD, Advertising, Bauer Media; Adam Harris, Director of Custom Solutions, Europe, Twitch and Tim Mines (Spamfish) and the talk was moderated by Clare O’Brien, Head of Industry Programmes, IAB UK.

The main takeaway from the discussion was that impact, effectiveness and context were much more important than reach and that brands should be looking to
