Lidl cinema stunt: ‘Looking after the Lidl’uns’

Digital Cinema Media (DCM) helped The Black Arts Company to deliver a successful live stunt event for Lidl at Vue West End, where cinemagoers were treated to an Easter surprise in aid of CLIC Sargent. 

As part of Lidl’s #Lidlsurprises campaign, which has seen previous successes with its “Deluxe” Pop-up restaurant that looked to introduce people to Lidl’s food and drink without them knowing where it came from, the Black Arts Company created, produced and directed a cinema commercial which took the idea further to include an experiential event.

Over Easter, 20 lucky people were treated to tickets at Vue West End, where Lidl premiered its latest advert ‘This one’s for the Lidl'uns’ - in aid of CLIC Sargent. After watching Lidl’s ad on the big screen, cinemagoers were visited by the ‘Lidl’uns’ from the ad, who proceeded to hand out Easter eggs to the audience.
