Media Week Awards 2014: celebrating talent and creativity

Last week's Media Week Awards celebrated the best talent and creativity in the UK's media sector, with 1,400 guests from agencies, media owners, advertisers and production companies in attendance.

More than 100 judges were involved in deciding this year's winners, led by co-chairs Bruce Daisley, managing director of Twitter UK, and Claudine Collins, managing director of MediaCom, as well Digital Cinema Media's (DCM) CEO, Simon Rees.

We’re proud to announce that DCM's Agency Head, Kloe Wells, was awarded the Rising Star of the Year award on the night, a category that recognises professionals who have accomplished great success and show huge promise for the future.

In total, 24 awards were handed out to leading media agencies and media owners, with Twitter UK winning the prestigious Media Brand of the Year Award while Maxus London was crowned Media Agency of the Year.

The Media Week Awards are the biggest night of the year for those in commercial media and, this year, judges received a record number of entries from the country's most innovative and bright media companies.
