Digital Cinema Media (DCM) has announced the nominees for its sixth annual Digital Cinema Media Awards, held in partnership with Campaign, which are making a return in 2022 after a short break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The competition, which is judged by a panel of leading experts, aims to celebrate and reward the best advertising campaigns that have been showcased on the big screen by the media industry since the last Awards scheme in 2019.
There are an impressive number of submissions across six categories from a range of brands and agencies in 2022, with an overall Grand Prix prize also up for grabs.
This year, DCM has introduced a new category to recognise the ways individuals are championing cinema advertising and how they have worked to get the best out of what cinema can offer brands.
DCM's CEO, Karen Stacey, said of the announcement: "We are thrilled to be bringing back the Digital Cinema Media Awards for their sixth year, to reward and celebrate the very best of the best on the big screen and I’m delighted to see an exceptional range of entries for our return year. I look forward to energetic and lively debates with our esteemed panel of judges as we discuss great media ideas that have succeeded in producing outstanding results for brands in the unique cinema space, as well as some of the brightest talent in our industry, before choosing this year’s winners.”
