Primesight shortlisted for two LoveContent awards

Digital Cinema Media's outdoor media partner Primesight has been shortlisted for two LoveContent Awards; Best Digital Out of Home Campaign Award and Branded Content Award.

The LoveContent Awards, in association with The Screen, showcase the very best in UK digital out-of-home creative, celebrating the growth of the digital outdoor landscape and the best original campaign media being created for more digital formats than ever before.

Primesight’s O2 Tracks app was shortlisted for the Best Digital Out of Home Campaign Award, a category dedicated to the most interesting, ambitious or effective campaigns of the year. The O2 Tracks App launched on Primesight’s digital interactive cinema touch screens by inviting cinemagoers nationally to demo the product by playing and listening to their favourite top 30 tracks on screen. The campaign, planned by Meridian Outdoor and ZenithOptimedia was very successful with a total of 42,207 people interacting with the brand across the screens, which is 3% of the total footfall. In total there were over 2 million individual clicks across the 65 screens.

The Branded Content Award celebrates the best unique content produced for a digital medium that is not intended for advertising purposes. Primesight devised an old school tile game for Pizza Hut to celebrate their 40th anniversary by ‘taking people back to their childhood’. Unique to the Pizza Hut anniversary was the limited time return of the ‘Edge’ pizza; a thin based pizza, loaded with toppings right to the edge and cut into distinct squares. The campaign ran in five hand selected, fully interactive digital cinema screens, which were chosen in 500m proximity to the top five Pizza Hut restaurants. The highly engaging game received 1,300 interactions, equating to over 100 daily interactions with Pizza Hut.

The awards categories were shortlisted by the public over the summer and winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony, taking place Thursday 3 October, after being judged by a panel of four independent industry specialists.
