We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, March 2023 is PACKED with action and thrills, which are especially exciting if you’re aged 16-34 or a brand looking to reach said young audience.
78% of young men are cinemagoers and are 61% more likely to be heavy cinemagoers vs the average UK adult (TGI GB 2022). They are eager to see the latest blockbuster films on their opening weekend (Film Monitor Data 2022), in order to join in the conversation with their peers and online. Cinema is all about the collective experience of watching it together and a perfect opportunity for brands to target this highly sought after audience.
Here’s how your brand can…
First up, Michael B. Jordan is back on the big screen in Creed III, the third instalment of the hit franchise, coming to UK cinemas on 3 March.
The Black Panther star makes his directorial debut and returns in the role of Adonis Creed who has been thriving in both his career and family life, but when a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy resurfaces, the face-off is more than just a fight.
Creed III is forecast to achieve 1.2m industry admissions in the UK, with a heavily skewed 16-34 male audience. That equates to an estimated 7.1 16-34 men TVRs and an estimated 553k 16-34 men impacts.
Excitingly for brands, Creed III is just one of a long list of opportunities to target 16-34 men in March 2023. Other titles include:
