Whether you agree with their rankings or not, all of these creatives demonstrate the multi-generational love that the Star Wars carries and the enduring power of cinema to build brands.

Kicking off the countdown at number five is German retailer Kaufland. Their creative shows a young boy using his love of Star Wars to invite a neighbour round for Christmas dinner. Shot by Thomas Garber through Tony Peterson Film Hamburg, the spot emphasises 'first love on Christmas with the help of Star Wars'.

Next up is Currys, who teamed up with M&C Saatchi and Rogue Films to bring the most famous droids in the galaxy, C3-PO and R2D2 to Currys to celebrate the launch of The Clone Wars Season 2 on DVD.

The mid-point of the countdown goes to a star-studded creative from iconic sports titans Adidas. Featuring Snoop Dog, David Beckham, Daft Punk and the Sith Lord Darth Vadar, the ad from Sid Lee and Partizan gives a modern twist to the imperial march and brings Star Wars into the current century.

Narrowly misssing out on the top spot is Xbox Kinect, in an entertaining spot featuring pre-Jurassic World Chris Pratt fooling around with Darth Vadar as he puts an Andy Dwyer-esque spin on Alec Guinness' Ben Kenobi.

Duracell claims to last longer than competitors and that is certianly the case on Shots' list, bagging the top spot with their collaboration with Anomaly in a Christmas campaign featuring Storm Troopers, AT-ATs and dueling lightsabers.
