Happy New Year!
2024 is packed full of fantastic movies to look forward to.
The year brings the much-anticipated release of huge sequels Dune Part II, Joker: Folie à Deux and Gladiator 2. There are also brand-new action movies, such as Argylle and Ballerina, for 16-34 audiences to look forward to. Also exciting for 16-34s is the release of Challengers, directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name) and starring Zendaya, and the sequel to one of the most successful horror movies of recent years, Smile 2.
2024 is a great year for fans of musicals, with Mean Girls, Bob Marley: One Love, and Wicked, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, arriving exclusively in cinemas.
ABC1 audiences also have a lot to look forward to, including Wicked Little Letters, starring Jesse Buckley, Olivia Colman, and Mickey 17, the follow-up film from Oscar-winning director Bong Joon Ho (Parasite).
Families have a range of films to enjoy together, including Inside Out 2, Despicable Me 4, Paddington in Peru and Mufasa: The Lion King, the sequel to Disney’s most successful live-action remake of all time.
