The 2023 Big Screen Awards from Screen International took place on the evening of Thursday 23 November at The Brewery, London.
The Big Screen Awards celebrate the amazing work from the hardworking cinematic industry, bringing blockbuster releases to our screens and captivating the minds of an audience.
DCM’s Content Business Director Tom Linay was on the judging panel for this year’s Awards. On the night, he presented the Industry Rising Star Award to Emma Farrugia, UK Theatrical Sales Manager at MUBI.
DCM’s cinema partners had a successful night at the Big Screen Awards. Greenwich Picturehouse in London took the award for Cinema of the Year (25 screens and over). The Living Room Cinema in Liphook was highly commended for Cinema of the Year (24 screens or under), just missing out to Highland Cinema in Fort William.
