UKCA 2015 one-day conference

There's less than a week to go until the UKCA 2015 one-day conference. This year’s event – Engage, Reward, Grow: Marketing the big screen experience – will take place at Picturehouse Central, London on 17 November 2015. As with last year’s event, it will be open both to Association members and to colleagues from across the wider industry. 

The UKCA's CEO, Phil Clapp, is particularly looking forward to the event, saying: "It’s going to be bloody brilliant."

Attendees will be treated to presentations from The Coca Cola Company, comparethemarket.com and YouGov, among others. There will be a range of stimulating and challenging sessions as well as plenty of networking opportunities, to make for an interesting and inspiring day.

Travel bursary for UKCA Members

Recognising the challenge that travelling may present to members based far outside of London, the UKCA has a bursary to help support travel costs to and from the event.

They have devised a set of rules which will allow them to allocate the limited sum available fairly. These are as follows:
 
•    Members based within Greater London (within the M25) will NOT be eligible;
•    Members based outside of the M25 but within 100 miles of London will be able to claim 50 per cent of travel costs up to a limit of £50; and
•    Members based 100 miles or more from London will be able to claim 50 per cent of travel and accommodation costs up to a limit of £100.
 
UKCA members will need to pay for travel/accommodation in advance and reimbursement will be given upon receipt of proof of purchase up to the values outlined above. Please send a completed form to Annette at annette@cineamuk.org.uk
